Static electricity
This week we have been learning about static electricity. We had fun using balloons in various experiments to understand how static electricity works. We rubbed balloons on our hair and made them stick. We charged a a balloon by rubbing it on our hair and then made water bend. We also magically moved a soft drink can using a charged balloon. Another experiment saw us charging our rulers and catching tissue paper fish.
